Itinerary

Torres del Paine day tour Itinerary

08:00 – 08:30 hrs.: Pick-up of passengers at their respective accommodations in Puerto Natales.

08:30 hrs.: Departure to Torres del Paine.

09:30 hrs.: First stop in Cerro Castillo to use the bathrooms or shop at the cafeteria.

10:00 hrs.: Lake Sarmiento Viewpoint: First panoramic view of the Paine Mountain Range.

10:40 hrs: Laguna Amarga: Entrance to the Torres del Paine National Park. Ticket validation and view of the Torres del Paine.

11:20 hrs: Nordenskjöld Lake Viewpoint: View of the Paine Mountain Range, Cuernos del Paine, Monte Almirante Nieto and Paine Grande.

11:40 hrs: Lake Pehoé: Viewpoint to observe the Salto Grande and walk to the viewpoint with a view of the Cuernos del Paine (weather permitting).

12:50 hrs: Pehoé Lake Viewpoint: View of the Island with the Pehoé Hostel and the Paine Mountain Range.

13:00 hrs.: Continuation of the trip along the banks of the Paine River and crossing the bridge over the Weber River.

13:30 to 14:30 hrs.: Grey Lake:  Lunch time and 1-hour walk to the beach to observe icebergs (subject to changes due to weather or CONAF).

Note: The time for lunch and the walk is approximately 1 hour, you can divide your time doing the 2 activities.

15:00 hrs.: Return to the Administrative Headquarters of the National Park. Lago del Toro Viewpoint: View of the Grey Glacier, the Paine mountain range and Lago del Toro.

15:40 hrs: Cueva del Milodón Natural Monument: Visit to the audiovisual room and the cavern with the replica of the Milodon.

17:30 hrs: Arrival in Puerto Natales and transfer to accommodation.

FAQ

Do I need to be in good physical condition to do this tour?

This tour does not require much effort, it is suitable for everyone, where the longest stretch to walk is to the beach of Lake Gray, where it is approximately 30 minutes one way and 30 minutes back to the parking lot where the minivan is located.

When can this tour be done?

This tour runs every day of the year, except December 25 and January 1

Are there places to have lunch in Torres del Paine National Park?

In high season from September to March of each year, you can bring your food from Puerto Natales or buy at the Pehoe campsite or at the Gray Lake cafeteria. Keep in mind that meals are limited and the cost is much higher if you want to eat inside. from the park.

In the low season from April to August of each year, most of these places are closed, therefore, you must bring your food from Puerto Natales.

Where should I buy the tickets to Torres del Paine and Milodon cave?

Tickets are purchased exclusively on the website https://pasesparques.cl/ at least the day before taking the tour, remember that you must buy 2 tickets, the one for the Torres del Paine National Park and the one for the Milodon Cave.

Can I cancel my reservation once I have made the payment?

Yes, but you must write to us at hola@todopatagonia.net before 48 hours of starting the tour and we will refund 100% of the money you paid. If 48 hours are up, there is no refund.
