What does the Full Day Torres del Paine tour include and what landmarks do we visit?

The tour includes round-trip transportation from Puerto Natales and a professional bilingual guide. During the day, we visit iconic landmarks such as the Milodon Cave Natural Monument, Lake Sarmiento Lookout, Laguna Amarga, Nordenskjöld Lookout, Salto Grande waterfall, and the Grey Lake area with views of the icebergs.

What time does the excursion start and when do we return to Puerto Natales?

The tour lasts approximately 10 hours. We pick up passengers at their accommodation in Puerto Natales between 8:00 and 8:30 AM and return to the city in the late afternoon, between 5:30 and 6:30 PM, leaving you free time for dinner.

Are national park entrance fees and meals included in the price?

No, entrance fees for Torres del Paine National Park and the Milodon Cave are not included and must be purchased online in advance at the official website (pasesparques.cl). Meals are not included either: you can add our Box Lunch when you book, CLP 20,000 per person — sandwich, fruit, nuts, cereal bar and water — or bring your own food from Puerto Natales.

Will I see the Torres del Paine towers up close on this day tour?

This full-day tour is a panoramic circuit — you'll admire the Paine massif and towers from the park's best viewpoints (Nordenskjöld, Sarmiento, Grey Lake). To hike up to the base of the towers themselves, choose our Base Las Torres trekking tour instead

Is the Torres del Paine day tour available in winter?

Yes, it runs year-round. In winter (June–August) you'll enjoy the park with fewer crowds and often snow-capped peaks; some viewpoints and routes may vary with weather and road conditions.

Torres del Paine day tour Itinerary

08:00 – 08:30 hrs.: Pick-up of passengers at their respective accommodations in Puerto Natales.

08:30 hrs.: Departure to Torres del Paine.

09:30 hrs.: First stop in Cerro Castillo to use the bathrooms or shop at the cafeteria.

10:00 hrs.: Lake Sarmiento Viewpoint: First panoramic view of the Paine Mountain Range.

10:40 hrs: Laguna Amarga: Entrance to the Torres del Paine National Park. Ticket validation and view of the Torres del Paine.

11:20 hrs: Nordenskjöld Lake Viewpoint: View of the Paine Mountain Range, Cuernos del Paine, Monte Almirante Nieto and Paine Grande.

11:40 hrs: Lake Pehoé: Viewpoint to observe the Salto Grande and walk to the viewpoint with a view of the Cuernos del Paine (weather permitting).

12:50 hrs: Pehoé Lake Viewpoint: View of the Island with the Pehoé Hostel and the Paine Mountain Range.

13:00 hrs.: Continuation of the trip along the banks of the Paine River and crossing the bridge over the Weber River.

15:40 hrs: Cueva del Milodón Natural Monument: Visit to the audiovisual room and the cavern with the replica of the Milodon.

17:30 hrs: Arrival in Puerto Natales and transfer to accommodation.

Do I need to be in good physical condition to do this tour?

This tour does not require much effort, it is suitable for everyone, where the longest stretch to walk is to the beach of Lake Gray, where it is approximately 30 minutes one way and 30 minutes back to the parking lot where the minivan is located.

Are there places to have lunch in Torres del Paine National Park?

The simplest option: add our Box Lunch when you book, CLP 20,000 per person. If you would rather sort it out yourself:

In high season from September to March of each year, you can bring your food from Puerto Natales or buy at the Pehoe campsite or at the Gray Lake cafeteria. Keep in mind that meals are limited and the cost is much higher if you want to eat inside. from the park.

In the low season from April to August of each year, most of these places are closed, therefore, you must bring your food from Puerto Natales.

Where should I buy the tickets to Torres del Paine and Milodon cave?

Tickets are purchased exclusively on the website https://pasesparques.cl/ at least the day before taking the tour, remember that you must buy 2 tickets, the one for the Torres del Paine National Park and the one for the Milodon Cave.

Can I cancel my reservation once I have made the payment?

Yes, but you must write to us at hola@todopatagonia.net before 48 hours of starting the tour and we will refund 100% of the money you paid. If 48 hours are up, there is no refund.

What should I bring for the day tour?

Warm layers and a windproof/waterproof jacket (Patagonian weather changes fast), comfortable walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen, water, and a box lunch or snacks (meals aren’t included). And your camera!
