An extreme and wonderful route is the trekking to The French Valley is an excursion that can be realized during the day, and is one of the excursions that is part of the Trekking of the W in Torres del Paine.
A box lunch is offered at an additional cost which include mineral water, fruit, sandwich, a cereal bar and a chocolate
Lodging places in Puerto Natales at 5:45am – 6:15am
06:00 to 06:30 hrs: Pick up at your accommodation in Puerto Natales.
06:30 hrs: Start of the trip to Torres del Paine National Park.
08:30 hrs: Arrival at the Pudeto Pier.
09:00 hrs: Board the catamaran heading east-west across Lake Pehoe.
09:30 hrs: Arrival at the Paine Grande refuge. Time to use the bathrooms and prepare for the hike.
10:00 hrs: Beginning of the 11-kilometer walk to the French Valley.
Brief stop at Camping Italiano to rest and enjoy a snack.
Continuation of the ascent through the French Valley.
Arrival at the first viewpoint, from where you can see the imposing southwest face of Paine Grande and the French Glacier. Time to take pictures and enjoy the views.
Ascent to the second viewpoint located 490 meters above sea level, from where you can contemplate the glacial remnants. Opportunity to relax and enjoy the natural beauty.
The return journey begins along the same path.
5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.: Arrival at the Paine Grande refuge.
18:30 hrs: Boarding the catamaran back to the Pudeto sector.
7:00 p.m.: Start of the return trip to the city of Puerto Natales.
9:00 p.m.: Arrival in the city and transfer to your accommodation.
End of services.
