Accommodation in Puerto Natales
06:30 to 07:00 am
We start at 06:30, picking travellers up at their accommodation in Puerto Natales, and head for Torres del Paine National Park.
We begin a five-hour round-trip trek along a steep, well-marked trail of medium-high difficulty that climbs into Cerro Ferrier, part of the Patagonian Andes.
We walk through a majestic Coihue forest, home to many endemic birds and to the Huemul, one of the most beautiful and elusive species in the park.
From up here we take in one of the most complete views of Torres del Paine National Park, including the Zapata and Grey glaciers, part of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field.
At the lookout there is time to rest, have lunch and recover.
We begin the return, stopping at the Camping Pehoé sector for a walk of about an hour to Mirador Cóndor, for a high view of the Cuernos del Paine and Lake Pehoé.
We then stop at Mirador Salto Grande to watch the powerful waterfall, and afterwards at Mirador Nordenskjöld for a view of the lake and the Paine Massif from its eastern face.
We leave the park through the Laguna Amarga entrance, where the Torres del Paine can be seen in all their splendour from the lagoon.
Around 21:00, return to Puerto Natales and drop-off at your accommodation.
