Punta Arenas Shore Excursions

Your ship calls at Punta Arenas for one day — the gateway to Magellanic penguins, the Strait of Magellan and the end of the world. We are a local operator based here, not a reseller: our own vehicles, our own bilingual guides, small groups.

What we won’t sell youdoesn’t fit

🐧 Magdalena Island penguins — not on a cruise day

It is the most famous trip out of Punta Arenas, and it does not work when you arrive by ship. The boat sails on a fixed schedule: hotel pick-up at 06:00, departure 07:00, back at 11:00. Most ships are still berthing when the van leaves, and the afternoon sailing returns too close to all-aboard. We have tried it in past seasons — we would rather tell you now than have you miss your ship. Staying overnight in Punta Arenas? Then it is a different story: write to us and we will book it for you.

Longer or overnight calls

If your ship stays late or overnight, these full days are within reach. Confirm the exact hours against your departure first.
